Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

The Summit melds European sophistication with Western style. The elegant Euro-Western Summit at Big Sky made its debut in March 2000 and features eight residential levels, two public levels with reception, concierge, meeting rooms, Provisions resort wear gift shop and an espresso cart. There are also three levels of underground parking. Big View Luxury Suite features spectacular panoramic views of the Big Sky area and luxurious furnishings and décor. It offer year-round fun for the whole family and direct ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky Resort. This suite offers 4 bedrooms, each with a private bath. For your entertainment when you're not enjoying the beautiful slopes, the living room boasts a smart TV, DVD player, a Wii console, and an iPod dock for playing your favorite music throughout the suite. There is also a wood-burning fireplace for comfortable evening gatherings. A deck off the suite provides access to the hot tub as well as a gas grill. There is also a laundry room for your convenience.

With convenient ski in/ski out access to all of Big Sky Resort's terrain, these spacious suites are perfect for the skiers and boarders in your group, although they can be enjoyed year-round. The Cowboy Heaven Luxury Suites enjoy incredible alpine views and luxury appointments that will make them a favorite home away from home. For your convenience, there is a one car garage designated for your suite as well as a private laundry room. An optional guest membership fee will also give you access to the outdoor pool at the private Moonlight club.

Gray Owl Retreat is an unforgettable 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with sweeping mountain views that sleeps 10. Other nearby activities include fly-fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive to the south, most of which is through the scenic northwest corner of the park and Gallatin National Forest.
