Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

The elegant Euro-Western Summit at Big Sky made its debut in March 2000 and features eight residential levels, two public levels with reception, concierge, meeting rooms, Provisions resort wear gift shop and an espresso cart. There are also three levels of underground parking. An inviting entryway with a comfortable bench has ample space for coats, boots and bags. A laundry room off the entryway makes it easy to clean up after a busy day on the slopes. An open living, dining and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

A two-level rental, guests will love the open-space living plan that also includes wrap around patios and balconies with views of Lone Peak and the surrounding Gallatin Range.

With big picture windows and sweeping mountain views, Wolf Pack Hideaway offers a feeling of true comfort in the heart of Moonlight Basin. Nestled directly on Moonlight Basin’s Powder River run for ski-in, ski-out access in the winter with hiking and biking trails out the door in the summer, the 4-bedroom home is ideal for groups and families looking to enjoy Big Sky’s year-round recreation. Styled in mountain decor, this rustic mountain condo welcomes guests to an expansive great room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains and French doors opening onto a private deck with a hot tub. There is a second deck that offers a gas grill for guests to use. A full-length leather sofa and three additional armchairs provide ample space to relax around the fire or watch the large flat-screen TV. With ski access and hiking trails just outside, guests have ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors from Wolf Pack Hideaway, but private on-site parking makes it easy to explore the surrounding area, from downtown Big Sky, located just 8 miles away, to Yellowstone National Park, about an hour’s drive. Available for an optional fee, guests also have access to the Moonlight Club facilities, a 3-minute drive away, including a heated swimming pool, fitness center, and family-friendly activities like snowshoeing and ice skating at Ulery’s Lake outdoor activity center. In the summer, guests can mountain bike, fish, and many other activities.

Alpine Meadow Chalets are surrounded by lodge pole pines and are located within a half mile of the Madison Base Area. Chalets feature fine finishes, designer décor with cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, decks, in-unit laundry facilities and full kitchens. A private vehicle is recommended.

Located on the north end of the Mountain Village, you can access skiing via secluded trails and bridges. In fact, on your first day of skiing, you can access the White Otter Lift and ski over to the base area to pick up your lift tickets. Just make sure you get exact directions on the best ski route back to your cabin, or you might end up too far down the mountain! Private vehicles are required for this location.

Situated on over 60 acres above some of Big Sky's beloved wilderness, The Big Sky Fire Lookout Cabins boast breathtaking views of Beehive Basin from atop the ridge with only a 10-minute drive from Big Sky Resort. These one of a kind cabins offer the adventurous spirit of a stay in a mountaintop fire lookout tower with all of the luxurious comforts Big Sky's most discerning guests have come to expect. The Beehive Basin View cabin is perched at the north end of the property with open views across its namesake-Beehive Basin. The upper level of this cabin is an open floor plan consisting of a gourmet kitchen, dining area, and living room. A massive floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace warms this space as you entertain and enjoy the panoramic views. Take in the sunrise while eating breakfast before a day of skiing or hiking and marvel at sunset views while the chef in the family prepares dinner to refuel after after a day of adventuring. Seat up to 6 at the dining table plus an additional 3 at the kitchen island. The upper level opens to a 360 degree wrap-around balcony complete with a gas grill. Please note that a four wheel drive vehicle with winter tires and winter driving experience is required for access during winter months. For backcountry skiing enthusiasts, this home offers unbeatable proximity to the skin track.
