First of all, Avon village is called The Seasons. Location is great - it is practically at the same level where the closest to the mountain free parking lot is. The ski bus stop is just out of the door. Gondola to the base of Beaver creek is also near by. Avon recreation center is next door and there is also park. What was bad: property management does not check anything prior to your arrival - first room they put us in did not sleep 4, in 30 min we moved to another room and after a while discovered that the toilett was clogged and could not be fixed. Late at night we moved to the 3rd room where the toilett barely worked but at least worked. The cleaning of the room is very approximate - once a week they vacuum the carpet (which was desperately dirty anyway) and change beds. Dust was found everywhere, inside the cabinets, on kitchenware, on mirrors. Dont think the blankets and bed covers were ever washed. I was on Claritin all week. Furniture in all 3 rooms was cheap and old, bed was ok but sleeping sofa was terrible. Most of the front desk personnel were Ok but there was one TERRY - rude and talks back a lot. Has to be fired! Becasue of location and most of the time spent skiing / outing we still had a good time. Property owners - change the management company!!
