Re: need advice on where to ski PLEASE
The cheapest and easiest resort to get to that I can think of is Winter Park, Co. It's close to Denver so the weekends can be busy but if you travel on the weekend it won't matter. They also have a good variety of beginner and intermediate runs with a good ski school.

Re: need advice on where to ski PLEASE

Hi!  If you want to try the states, think about skiing Utah resorts.  There are seven major resorts within 40 minutes of the airport.  You can stay at any of the resorts, (except Brighton), or you can stay in the Salt Lake Valley and only have 1/2 hour commute to the mountains.  Depending on your price range, you might consider Deer Valley.  Very expensive, very accommodating.  They will brush the snow off when you fall!  The Utah resorts are newbie friendly.

If you are economy, I heard about a great package at the Ramada in Salt Lake.  I love Utah skiing, and I doubt there is anywhere in the world that is more convenient to the traveller!  See you there!
