I have never been to jackson hole but I have been to many of the resorts in CO and I would also suggest you go there.

You will have much more selection and flexability skiing in CO. Many great resorts there to ski at as well. Flying as others have said is going to be much easier/cheaper flying to denver than it will be to Jackson hole. probably cost you an extra 1-200$ per person to get to jackson hole.

I am planning a trip to jackson in early january I sure hope they have sonw!! I am expecting to ski the whole mountain. You guys have me worried now
