I would absolutely look into Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia and also Banff / Jasper / Lake Louise , Alberta.  These are all major resorts who get great early snow. You can go as early as November to get in some early-season turns.  Give Ski.com a call to ask an agent any specific questions about early-season deals on lodging and lift tickets.  They will be able to put togehter an entire package for you at a great price.  800-778-8589
