November skiing in Vermont?
I'm thinking of going skiing in Vermont the week after Thanksgivig, but a little concerned that it won't be cold or snowy enough. Has anyone had experience skiing early season in Vermont? If so, what resort would you recommend for the best chances of good snow in late November?

The best place to try is Killington ski resort.Be sure to check for conditions before you go.In the last few years skiing in Vermont in November has been pretty bad.

I'vegone to Killington many times, but preffer Stowe. November, anywhere in Vermont is a gamble so be prepared to get wet.

Re: November skiing in Vermont?
I would check out Sugarbush, they have some amazing new base facilities and they are scheduling their opening for Lincoln Peak on Nov. 23- They usually shoot for top to bottom skiing with an download scenario if mother nature does not cooperate. I heard that Killington was not going to open early this season due to the change in management. Rumor has it, that they will have more limited terrain than usual for that time of year.

Killington can be hit or miss along with all the rest.  True, this year should be interesting with the Big K's new management taking over.  Killington typically tries to open everything even when the rocks and roots are showing though so I would try hitting Sugarbush or Stowe.
